Job Title: iOS Developer – Lead (Finance/Banking Experience)

Location: Malmö, Sweden

Role Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned iOS Developer to join our team in Malmö, Sweden. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Finance/Banking sector, with a strong background in mobile payments and Apple Pay integration. As a Lead iOS Developer, you will be responsible for guiding the development team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality mobile applications, and driving innovation in the mobile payments space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the iOS development team in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality iOS applications.
• Integrate and optimize mobile payment solutions, with a focus on Apple Pay and other payment technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless and secure mobile payment experiences.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including clean code principles, code reviews, and unit testing.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior developers on the team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends, technologies, and best practices, particularly in the financial and banking domains.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs.
• Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience: 8+ years of iOS development experience with at least 2 years in a Lead role.
• Finance/Banking Domain: Strong understanding of the finance/banking sector with proven experience in developing applications for this industry.
• Mobile Payments: Hands-on experience with mobile payment solutions and Apple Pay integration.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Swift and Objective-C, with a deep understanding of iOS frameworks, RESTful APIs, and third-party libraries.
• Architecture: Expertise in mobile application architectures such as MVC, MVVM, and clean architecture patterns.
• Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bitrise, and testing frameworks like XCTest.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to lead and guide remote/offshore teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other mobile payment methods and digital wallets.
• Knowledge of security standards and data protection in mobile apps, especially in the financial domain.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Experience with tools such as Crashlytics, Firebase, or similar analytics platforms.
