We’re looking for our next Junior Front End Engineer. Could It Be You?

This position will assist in ongoing maintenance and new development for our Corporate website.

We are seeking a Junior Front-End Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our web applications. In this role, you will leverage your strong UI development skills to implement a wide range of tasks, from simple copy updates and SEO improvements to the creation of new UI components for our design system. You will collaborate closely with designers, back-end developers, and QA engineers throughout the entire software development lifecycle within an agile environment. Excellent time management, organizational skills, and a meticulous eye for detail and quality are crucial for success in this position. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute directly to the growth of our products.

The ideal candidate will have strong skills in responsive web development and front-end technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript) in order to handle the variety of tasks delivered by the team.

Day-to-day responsibilities could include:

• Creating and updating web pages using the Sitefinity Content Management System
• Creating new page layouts, UI elements and features based on designs
• Maintaining and enhancing existing UI style libraries and UI page elements
• Implementing Google web analytics tracking using Google Tag Manager
• Identifying, troubleshooting and fixing bugs
• Ensuring all work passes web accessibility and web performance standards
• Assisting in the creation of automated tests in order to ensure the quality of all features developed
• Participating in deployments and the launching of new features in our production environments
• Participating in all scrum ceremonies
  
  
  

The developer will be expected to contribute in a creative and dynamic agile team environment, so good communication, collaboration and time management skills are essential.

We’re looking for a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the following areas:

• Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, SASS
• Strong foundation in JavaScript, TypeScript
• Experience developing responsive websites
• Experience working with a content management system (e.g. Sitefinity, WordPress)
• Experience testing, debugging and troubleshooting browser, device or performance issues
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems
