Senior DevOps Engineer – Stockholm, Hybrid

Are you passionate about building and optimising robust infrastructure solutions for the energy sector in a consultancy environment? Want to play a key role in developing cutting-edge platforms and automation pipelines for a diverse client base, where you'll tackle complex CI/CD challenges and create impactful solutions with a focus on scalable, resilient infrastructure?

What's in it for you?

You'll join a dynamic team of software engineers and data scientists, specialising in custom product development for the energy industry. Your role will primarily focus on DevOps and platform engineering, allowing you to dive deep into infrastructure design, data infrastructure, automation, and cloud-native technologies.

Enjoy a flexible hybrid work model, balancing time between client offices, your company's headquarters in Stockholm, and remote work. This varied approach allows you to immerse yourself in client environments, collaborate closely with your team, and maintain productivity from home when needed. You'll engage in projects of various scales, collaborating with cross-functional teams and interfacing directly with clients to deliver tailored solutions.

You'll get a competitive salary offering up to 70,000 SEK per month (depending on your experience). The company is committed to professional growth, with plans to offer clear paths to leadership roles as the company expands. With ambitious growth plans, there's potential for advancement to senior technical positions in the future. On top of this, you’ll get 30 days vacation, a health and wellness allowance (friskvård), and private pension contributions.

What you'd be doing?

You'll typically work in agile teams of 5-6 people, sometimes scaling up for larger projects. You might spearhead new initiatives, assessing client needs and building your team from within the company.

Your work will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure for CI/CD, automating deployment processes, and managing Kubernetes clusters and related cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. You’ll be responsible for optimising development pipelines, infrastructure, data, and QA processes, as well as implementing best practices around monitoring, tracing, metrics, and alerts.

A key aspect of your role will be enhancing the developer experience within the team and solving customers' infrastructure-related problems. You’ll advocate for solutions and, when appropriate, push for the adoption of the company’s own tools and frameworks. Your consultant-style approach will see you acting as a partner and support outside the customer environment.

About you?

Deep experience working with Kubernetes, with a strong focus on automation and infrastructure optimisation. You thrive in environments that require independence in learning and working and enjoy close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You have experience configuring and managing cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, as well as on-premise solutions. An automation-first mindset is crucial, and experience with Python or similar languages is a bonus. Leadership experience and strong communication skills are highly valued, as you'll mentor team members and interface with clients while contributing to the evolution of DevOps practices within the team.

Consultant-style experience is beneficial, as client interaction is a significant part of the role, and fluency in both Swedish and English is a must for effective client communication.
