iOS Developer (12 month contract)

Location: remote Canada

Reporting to: Technology Manager

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Finger on the pulse of the latest iOS/Swift trends.
• Ability to write expressive, readable, composable, and testable Swift code.
• Understanding of the iOS application view lifecycles.
• Basic understanding of iOS provisioning profiles and certificates.
• Basic understanding of functional reactive programming.
• Observance of Clean architectural and coding principles.
• Experience with Mobile Automation Testing.
• knowledge of UIKit and swiftUI
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Desire to share knowledge with engineers of all levels.
• Willingness to constantly improve quality standards.
  
  

What will you bring to the table?

• Understanding Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Familiarity with MVVM architectural patterns.
• Experience releasing and maintaining live iOS/Cocoa applications.
• Familiarity with Fastlane and/or maintaining CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with debugging, performance measurement, and test-driven development.
• Understanding of REST principles and exposure to the backend.
• Experience using Git and related tools like GitHub and Bitbucket.
• Passion for engineering practices such as TDD, pair programming, and code reviews.
