- We are looking for a motivated technical product manager to drive product development and growth in the semiconductor ecosystem by aligning PDF’s Next Generation Analytics platform roadmap with industry needs.
- The Next Generation Analytics product manager will work together with the field application engineers, software developers, customers, and other internal stakeholders to position and grow our product offering to enable both fabless and integrated device manufacturer customers to realize manufacturing, yield improvements, quality improvements, and operational efficiency improvements.
- In addition, the Next Generation Analytics product manager will capture market competitive and trend data, customer feedback / user stories, customer usage data, and other key information to develop product insights and help drive the product roadmap.
- Help set Next Generation Analytics strategic & tactical roadmap priorities & direction aligned with the corporate strategy and direction.
- Write product requirements, as well as performance and functionality specifications and development requirements for Next Generation Analytics products
- Work with the software development teams to prioritize bug fix and feature requests, and communicate priorities to the internal development teams or customers as required.
- Create the Next Generation Analytics product ‘White’ papers, data sheets, and briefs
- Provide new Next Generation Analytics product/module descriptions, documentation, sales collateral and new feature/product naming
- Understand the changing user requirements for analytics in the semi industry
- Generate market studies and competitive analysis and assessments.
- Create technical sales packs, videos, webinars, marketing & communication plans
- Generate customer training materials and documentation
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in semiconductor analytics and/or product engineering is required
- Understanding of and the ability to describe the manufacturing process of the semiconductor manufacturing supply chain at a functional level
- General knowledge of software development and medium-large scale compute infrastructure operations and management is an advantage
- Conversant in basic statistical metrics and concepts
- General knowledge of machine learning pipelines and AI algorithms and approaches
- Prior data analysis and data presentation experience
- Field engineering, application engineering, or semiconductor industry customer support experience is preferred
- Aptitude for self-learning new skills and technologies
- The ability to dive deeply into the technical understanding of how a product works
- Ability to understand customer needs, build customer value and highlight competitive differentiation through packaging and pricing
- Experience crafting high quality sales and customer-facing content including presentations and web copy as well as guiding the marketing team to create content
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
- Experience or willingness to work in a distributed organization
- General understanding of semiconductor data types to include images, test data, metrology, parametric, & standard communication protocols and formats
- General knowledge of Analytics use cases in the semiconductor industry
- BS in EE, CS, CIS, CE or related field +7-years’ experience
