Role Overview

Cinch is looking for a UI Designer with a strong eye for clean, intuitive, and aesthetically compelling interfaces. You will be responsible for designing user-friendly, high-quality UI elements, mockups, and prototypes, ensuring seamless and visually engaging experiences. While UX expertise is valuable, this role is primarily focused on UI design—creating pixel-perfect, scalable, and consistent visuals across products.

You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to refine user flows and bring designs to life. Experience in building and maintaining a design system is highly preferred.

A strong portfolio demonstrating your UI design skills is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design modern, intuitive, and visually appealing UI components, layouts, and experiences

• Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes in Figma

• Develop and maintain a scalable design system ensuring visual consistency across products

• Work closely with developers to ensure smooth handoffs and implementation feasibility

• Improve and refine user interfaces based on feedback, best practices, and usability principles

• Contribute to UI/UX strategy, focusing on usability, clarity, and engagement

• Conduct design reviews to maintain aesthetic and functional quality

Qualifications

• Strong UI design skills with a keen sense of aesthetics, spacing, typography, and layout

• Proficiency in Figma (auto-layout, variants, components, and prototyping required)

• Experience creating and maintaining design systems

• Ability to translate complex requirements into simple, elegant designs

• Understanding of basic UX principles (e.g., usability, accessibility, interaction patterns)

• Experience collaborating with developers (front-end experience is a plus, but not required)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to iterate quickly based on feedback

• Portfolio showcasing high-quality UI work is mandatory

Nice to Have

• Experience with motion design, microinteractions, or animations

• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Tailwind, etc.)

• Previous experience designing for SaaS or financial products
