Chief Enterprise Architect

Overview:

Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise architecture frameworks across business, application, data, and infrastructure domains. Align strategic objectives with technological solutions to ensure scalability, performance, and security. Establish and operate the Enterprise Architecture (EA) office to oversee architectural governance and drive transformation initiatives.

Skills and Requirements:

Education:

• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in enterprise architecture roles, including leadership positions.
• Demonstrated experience in establishing EA offices and implementing large-scale frameworks.
• Local Qatar knowledge and experience is a plus.

Certifications:

• TOGAF certification is mandatory.
• Additional certifications such as ITIL, COBIT, Zachman, or Lean Six Sigma are desirable.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, ADM).
• DAMA certification is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with EA tools, including Orbus iServer and OrbusInfinity.
• Expertise in designing and implementing architectures across all domains: business, application, data, and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of AI-driven data integration frameworks and cloud technologies.

Soft Skills:

• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Arabic.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Tools and Methodologies:

• Expertise in enterprise modeling tools (namely Orbus iServer or OrbusInfninty, other tools of the same grade might be an alternative).
• Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence).
• Knowledge of Qatar Enterprise Architecture GEA is a plus.
