Location: Krakow, Poland (Hybrid for 2 days onsite a week)

Position Overview:

For one of our partners, we are seeking a DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for.net , Java, frontend and workflow engine technologies. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and experience to contribute to the success of our partner organization.

Activities and role

• Should have experience in multiple orchestration tools (Example: Service Fabric, Docker, Kubernetes)
• To drive and own various initiatives to automate processes and improve project delivery CI/CD pipeline
• Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure across multiple departments
• Planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities.
• Managing stakeholders and external interfaces for Setting up tools and required infrastructure
• Writing Specification and documentation
• Work with automation Services and platforms, scripting and coding
• Monitoring and handle production incidents as part of Hotline team as per ITIL processes

Job requirements

Technical Skills

Must Have:

• You must have at least 7 years or above, of overall experience
• Expertise in Azure DEVOPS pipeline management for .net , Java, frontend and workflow engine technologies
• Expertise in CICD tools like source code management tools (SVN/GIT/TFS)
• Excellent knowledge of software development and software testing methodologies along with configuration management practices

Should have:

• Knowledge on ITIL processes and policies and At least minimum 3 years of hands on experience in Automated build and deployments, using Jenkins, Ansible, TFS/Azure DevOps. (Most important is Azure Devops)
• Proven working experience in both Windows 10 and Linux; (preferably windows)
• Strong experience in Ansible and scripting languages (Python, bash, Shell, Ansible),
• Possess sound knowledge of cloud-based environments
• Configuring alerts and analysis of application logs & server logs
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Gitlab, SVN
• Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to detect and resolve data/analytics quality issues
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Ability to review deployment and delivery pipelines i.e., implement initiatives to minimize chances of failure, identify bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues
• Should strong analytical skills and are stress-resistant

Good to have:

• Monitoring tools (Logstash, Redis, Elastic search, Kibana) for Configuring dashboards, configuring reports, Build and deployment tools (Jenkins, TFS, Ansible etc.)
• Good experience on containerization using Kubernetes
• Trouble shooting Experience with Linux environment (RHEL)
• Good experience in Activities like patching, setting up application servers (e.g. Tomcat) and proxying, Static websites, routing) in Apache
• NginxDesign and development experience with distributed systems and operating systems

Soft Skills:

• Good communication, collaboration, budgeting and time management skills
• Good presentation skills
• Creative, flexible, and willing to continuously change, evolve, and improve software development processes
• Demonstrated technical leadership
