The Toast POS app is the central pillar of Toast’s restaurant products. We make the core functions of the POS as easy-to-use as possible so our restaurants can smoothly serve millions of meals each day. We’re continually introducing innovations to help our restaurants enhance hospitality while maintaining a healthy bottom line. Current major initiatives include self-ordering Kiosks for guests, personalized guest experiences, and in-app coaching for waitstaff.

We’re seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead multiple POS engineering teams in our Dublin office.

About this roll* (Responsibilities)

• Drive delivery of business outcomes, including planning and execution
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of software, including maintaining a high-quality customer experience
• Collaborate closely with PM and UX to influence the strategy and direction of their group
• Drive large initiatives spanning multiple teams
• Identify staffing needs and recruit high performers
• Coach team members for professional and technical development

• Experience delivering and evolving widely-used products
• Experience building and developing diverse, high performance teams
• Experience deeply collaborating with PM and UX partners
• Strong technical background that you use to guide your team’s decisions and plans
