We're the Navigation SDK team. We work on complex code to develop TomTom's Navigation Software Development Kit, integrating technologies provided by other Product Units and enabling our customers to easily build competitive navigation applications. Your code will also be at the heart of TomTom's navigation products like AmiGO, helping millions of people find their way in the world.

You’ll help people find their way in the world. In 2004, TomTom revolutionized how the world moves with the introduction of the first portable navigation device. Now, we intend to do it again by engineering the first-ever real-time map, the smartest and most useful map on the planet.
Work with a team of 3,700 unique, curious and passionate problem-solvers. Together, we’ll open up a world of possibilities for car manufacturers, enterprises and developers to help people understand and get closer to the world around them.

- Understand the test plan(s) and test strategy. Able to identify gaps in test strategy and test plan and knows how to improve this in close cooperation with the test architect/lead.
- Ensures the efficient and effective execution of test activities for the project and assists the team and project manager in continuously improving their work practices.
- Define test requirements, and write and execute test cases (manual or automated).
- Performs tests and reports side effects found and the path leading to the defects to reproduce them. Able to identify trends in regression.
- A clear understanding of the software architecture to find the root cause of the defect.
- Communicate and deploy test procedures to stakeholders.
- Maintain test requirements traceability.
- Participate in test engineering activities.
- Experience with product development and knowledge of Kotlin or Java programming language
- Advanced understanding of test management principles (ISEB/ISTQB accredited).
- Advanced understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery principles (CI, CD and DevOps).
- Ability to work with automated test frameworks.
- Being able to work on a Bachelor level or higher, preferably with a background in IT
- 2 years of hands-on testing exposure with good knowledge of test processes.
- Test background; ability to identify risk areas and define proper test coverage; improve current tests.
- Proven experience in the automation of test cases.
- Knowledge of Git and understanding of continuous integration, automated builds and builds systems.
- Quality Assurance and Testing mindset and passion
- Excellent people and communication skills, Flexibility, and being able to work across multiple teams and cultures
- Fluent in English (verbal, reading, writing)
- Able to drive the test car and validate the application
