Job Opportunity: JavaScript Developer with Node.js

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team within the Global Markets Technology division. This role reports directly to the Development Manager, and the successful candidate will be involved in the full development lifecycle, including analysis, testing, and production support. We work as an integrated team, and each member is responsible for all aspects of the development process.

Location: Cracow, hybrid model (office visits 2 times per week)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within a team of 4-6 people, working alongside a dedicated product owner. Teams are typically located in a single area but can be geographically distributed.
• Break down business requirements into user stories and deliver each story iteratively to production.
• Take full ownership of product support; we operate with the philosophy "the team builds it, the team supports it."
• Identify areas of technical debt and ensure a healthy balance between addressing tech debt and developing new functionality.
• Design solutions for new features, ensuring alignment with technology guidelines and constraints.
• Pair with other team members to share knowledge and expertise.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience with JavaScript, CSS, and Node.js (both client-side and server-side).
• Familiarity with Accessibility best practices and the ability to implement them.
• Working knowledge of Unix systems.
• An understanding of databases from a consumer’s perspective.
• Knowledge of HTTP APIs (e.g., RESTful APIs).
