About the Role:

Our client is on the lookout for a Network Engineer to join their network , focusing on Cisco network deployments and Fortinet firewall implementations. This role is project-oriented, involving the deployment, configuration, and support of enterprise network infrastructure while ensuring high availability and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Deployment – Configure, deploy and implement Cisco network solutions and Fortinet firewalls, ensuring seamless integration.
• Support & Troubleshooting – Provide Level 2/3 network support, diagnosing and resolving technical issues across LAN, WAN, and WiFi environments.
• Configuration & Optimization – Optimize network performance, apply patches, and conduct firmware upgrades.
• Network Security – Assist with Fortinet firewall deployments, security rule configuration, and best practices.
• Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver network projects on time.
• Documentation & Compliance – Maintain detailed network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures in line with industry best practices.

Skills & Experience Required:

✔ Proven experience in network deployment & support, with a strong focus on Cisco technologies

✔ Hands-on expertise in Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls (Catalyst, Nexus, ASA, etc.)

✔ Experience with Fortinet firewall deployments (FortiGate, FortiManager) is a plus

✔ Solid understanding of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, QoS)

✔ Familiarity with network security principles and best practices

✔ Ideally 4/5 years experience in networking industry

✔ Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in BAU operations

Preferred Certifications:

🎯 CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) mandatory

🎯 Experience with network monitoring tools and ITIL best practices
