Senior Product Owner

We are seeking a Product Owner for Keysight EDA high-speed digital software solutions. Work closely with an agile software development squad, consisting of R&D software engineers, with support from an R&D manager and software architect. Work with internal and external partners to deliver ‘best-in-EDA’ user-experiences for high-speed digital EM (Electro-Magnetic) modeling and simulation.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategy for high-speed digital EM products in PCB, Packages, 3DIC application markets
• Understands the needs of customers and keeps the customer at the forefront of all the work we do. Conveys this understanding and urgency to the product development teams.
• Drives in-depth discussions, from detailed product functionality discussions with stakeholders, down to implementation tradeoffs with the development team. Documents high-level feature requirements and communicates them to the teams.
• Communicates with all stakeholders: from customers to internal VPs, to individual members of the development team, surfacing the hidden details/requests that make the difference between success or failure, satisfaction or disappointment.
• Challenges and inspires the development teams to achieve more than they thought possible but in a sustainable manner, by being a part of the team, not above or outside it
• Refines and prioritizes the product backlog to drive the success of the development team and the product.
• Drives product release plans and create compelling outbound marketing messages
• Build professional customer-facing presentations
• Develop and deliver training for the direct sales organization on how to sell/deploy Keysight EDA high-speed digital software solutions

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Outstanding facilitation and communication skills.
• Strong administrative capabilities and methodologies, which allow you to manage and prioritize even the unruliest backlog.

Desired qualifications:

• Strong knowledge on Electromagnetic (EM) numerical analysis - FEM, MoM, FDTD, etc.
• Experience in high-speed digital applications highly preferred.
• Knowledge of high-speed PCB , package designs, advanced package designs including Chiplet, 3DIC, and 3DHI
• Knowledge of Keysight EM solutions and/or ADS simulation for high-speed digital applications
• Knowledge of EDA business and high-speed digital design workflows (EM, SerDes and Memory).
• Experience with Jira or similar application lifecycle management tools.
• Experience delivering schedule-driven software solutions
• Experience in a formal Product Owner role. Experience in agile process as it pertains to product ownership preferred
