Full-Stack Developer (Security-Focused)

At Stiltsoft, we’re a team of experts dedicated to making the Atlassian ecosystem better. Since 2010, we’ve been building apps for Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket, helping 15,000+ teams worldwide simplify their workflows and be more productive.

Now, we’re looking for a Software Engineer to contribute to one of our leading products – Table Filter and Charts for Confluence.

The app helps teams analyze and visualize business data directly in Confluence. It’s available for Cloud and Data Center.

Within the team, all communication is conducted in Russian.

Our office is located in Tallinn, but we are also open to remote work (В2В).

What You’ll Do:

• Develop new features and improve existing ones
• Identifying, preventing, and fixing security vulnerabilities
• Implement automated security testing (SAST & DAST)
• Optimize performance, reliability, and usability to enhance the user experience
• Participate in peer reviews
• Assist support teams with technical issues
• Share security best practices within the team

• Backend: Java 8, Node.js 22
• Frontend: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux, D3.js
• Frameworks: Atlassian SDK (Server), Atlassian Connect Express (Cloud)
• Testing: JUnit, Selenium, Mocha, QUnit, Puppeteer, Cypress
• Security Tools: Snyk, OWASP, Amazon Inspector, Vanta
• Dev Tools: Bitbucket Data Center, TeamCity, Jira, GitHub Copilot

What We Expect:

• Strong experience in full-stack development (Java, Node.js, JavaScript)
• Solid knowledge of common security vulnerabilities and best practices to prevent them, handling security incidents
• Understanding of cryptography and secure coding principles
• Willingness to implement security best practices and tools to improve product
• Interest in contributing to open-source projects that we use
• Collaborative mindset – open communication, constructive feedback, and teamwork
• English proficiency for reading documentation and written communication
