Network Engineer

Location: Singapore (Remote role)

Contract: 1-year contract with potential extension

Eligibility: Open only to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents

My client is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, high-performance network infrastructure. This is a 1-year contract role with the possibility of extension, based in Singapore, and is only open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, and maintain network infrastructure to support business operations.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and ensure availability, security, and scalability.
• Diagnose and resolve network-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Implement security policies and measures to protect network integrity.
• Perform routine system updates and ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Document network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams when required.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in network engineering, preferably in an ISP environment.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, or VPNs.
• Hands-on experience with Juniper, Aruba, or Cisco networking solutions.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as Zabbix and PRTG.
• Familiarity with Fortinet and Aruba solutions is a plus.
• Ability to design high-level and low-level network architectures based on business needs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
