We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mimecast Administrator to join our team.

As a Mimecast Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Mimecast email security and archiving platform. Your role will involve configuring and monitoring the platform, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our email systems. This is a critical position that requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

1. Mimecast Platform Administration:

1. Configure and manage the Mimecast platform, including email security, archiving, and continuity features.
2. Monitor the platform for performance, security, and availability, and promptly address any issues that arise.
3. Implement and enforce Mimecast policies, including email filtering rules, security settings, and archiving policies.
4. Collaborate with the IT team to integrate Mimecast with existing email systems and ensure seamless email flow.

2. Email Security and Threat Management:

1. Maintain a strong understanding of email security best practices and emerging threats.
2. Monitor and analyze email security logs and reports to identify and mitigate potential risks.
3. Respond to email security incidents, investigate and resolve email-based threats, such as spam, phishing, and malware.
4. Stay updated with Mimecast product releases, patches, and updates, and proactively apply them to enhance email security.

3. User Support and Training:

1. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users regarding Mimecast features, functionalities, and troubleshooting.
2. Conduct user training sessions and create documentation to educate users on Mimecast usage, best practices, and self-service options.
3. Collaborate with the help desk team to address Mimecast-related support tickets and ensure timely resolution.

4. Reporting and Documentation:

1. Generate regular reports on Mimecast performance, email security metrics, and archiving status.
2. Maintain accurate documentation of Mimecast configurations, policies, and procedures.
3. Keep abreast of industry trends and developments in email security and archiving, and make recommendations for improvements.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
2. Strong experience in administering Mimecast or similar email security and archiving platforms.
3. Proficient understanding of email protocols
