What will your typical day look like:

As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing complex integration solutions using Java. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless flow of data between applications, driving efficiencies and improving system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design and development of integration solutions using Java, ensuring high-quality implementation.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements for integration projects.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues efficiently while documenting solutions and maintaining development best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends in integration and microservices, and actively participate in Agile ceremonies for continuous improvement.
  
  

Required Interpersonal Skills/experience

• Previous consulting or client-facing roles;
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
• Comfort working in a flexible and dynamic environment;
• Technical certifications will be highly regarded.
  
  

Required Role Specific Skills/experience

• Proficiency in Java programming language.
• Experience in Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with Enterprise Integration Tools - Fuse/Apache Camel (strongly preferred), Mulesoft, Boomi, or other iPaaS /ESB tools (acceptable)
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms Microsoft Azure/AWS/GCP/Openshift.
• Experience in containerization and orchestration such as Kubernetes, Openshift
• Experience in Identity management like KeyClock (preferred)/ Azure AD/ Okta/ ForgeRock
• Experience in API Management solutions like 3Scale (preferred)/Mulesoft/Kong
• Experience in integration solutions including knowledge on API design and implementation.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
