Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Software Engineer at p8.io in Melbourne, VIC, with flexibility for remote work. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, programming, and object-oriented programming (OOP). This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer science or related field with experience/proficiency in the field
• Back-End Web Development expertise
• Experience in Java, Spring and related technologies
• Familiarity with ci/cd pipeline and versioning tools
• Hands on experience with rdbms and no-sql databases
• Experience with Apache Camel is good to have
• Strong programming and OOP knowledge
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable software systems
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Banking domain experience is good to have
