Electronics Designer

We are looking for an Electronics Designer to join our team in Espoo. In this position you will work closely with electronics tester software and mechanical design teams, particularly with interface devices and mechanical actuators. Previous experience of building/design test instrumentation or test setups are seen as benefit.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity located in Espoo, Finland. The candidate we are looking for is based in the Helsinki metropolitan area and authorized to work in Finland.

You need to be willing and capable to work on-site in our Lab in Espoo Finland according to our needs – this is due to the nature of the work.

Your profile

You hold a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering preferably in electronics or equivalent field.

Additionally, you have:

• 2-4 years of relevant work experience on schematic level electronics design
• Experience with electronics required around microcontrollers
• Experience with the embedded electronics
• Familiarity with general measurement circuits in embedded electronics
• Basic knowledge of analog electronics, including operational amplifiers
• Experience with some schematic design software
• Familiarity with measurements performed using a multimeter / oscilloscope
• Soldering skills, including SMD (Surface-Mount Device) and through-hole components
  
  

We also value

• Experience with microcontroller interfaces such as JTAG, I2C, SPI, QSPI
• Experience with computer interface buses as part of electronics such as USB, Ethernet, HDMI
• Understanding of PCI eXtensions for Instrumentation (PXI)
• Proficiency with PADS and EPLAN software
• Design experience that includes selecting measurement devices
• Experience in electrical (electrics) / automation design as well as PCB layout design.
