Junior PR & Social Media Project Manager (Fixed-term)

Position Summary

Samsung Electronics Baltics is one of 16 Samsung Electronics Sales subsidiaries in Europe. There are 180 employees located across all 3 Baltic countries with the central office based in Riga, Latvia.

We are looking for a capable and knowledgeable team member to join our Corporate Communications and Corporate Communications and PR Team as Junior PR & Social Media Project Manager (Fixed-term, maternity cover) (1800-2200 EUR gross + Semi-annual bonus (up to 2700-3300 EUR gross))

Role And Responsibilities

• Manage Samsung Community Platforms Newsroom content by maintaining and regularly updating the platform across the Baltics including banners, contests, and current content.
• Adapt and customize press releases for the Community platform.
• Communicate with the Samsung Members community by managing incoming questions and providing responses and solutions to queries.
• Create and prepare content for internal Intranet.
• Develop weekly social media content plan according to the brand guidelines.
• Manage global materials in internal systems - PVI, GRIP, Sprinkl.
• Provide support to colleagues and the team with PR and social media campaigns.
  
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or proven experience in Public Relations, Social Media, or Communications.
• Project Management: Demonstrated experience in project management, with the ability to organize and execute multiple tasks efficiently.
• Adaptability and Agility: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent communication skills in English and Latvian, both written and spoken.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel for content creation, reporting, and presentations.
