Internship - Digital Consumer Experience Design [6 months]

As a Digital Experience Design Intern at adidas, you are contributing to the creation of cross-functional, high quality user experiences. Working in close collaboration with other Experience Design specialists, Content strategy, Content Planning and Product teams, you will support the creation of consistent experiences end-to-end.     

UX/UI: As UX/UI designers you will be bringing ideas to life in the form of sketches, concepts and high-level prototypes. You will also be contributing to the validation of delivered concepts and solutions against the desired user experiences. The aspiration is to define experiences that will maximize consumer engagement, conversion and advocacy for adidas.

DesignOps: Design Operations (DesignOps) is the connector that enables design teams across disciplines to collaborate seamlessly, scale efficiently, and deliver impactful experiences. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with diverse design teams, gaining deep insight into the design practice while optimizing workflows and systems for operational excellence.GROW YOUR CAPABILITIES THROUGH MEANINGFUL TASKS & PROJECTS

• Provide hands-on experience design support on concept direction informed by best practices
• Provide hands-on UX/UI design support creating experience blueprints, informing existing frameworks
• Support UX designer in utilizing consumer insights and analytics data to help understand the value drivers for the consumer
• Contribute to experience design concepts that address consumer value propositions
• Create high-level prototypes of the experience design to enable user tests
• Contribute to the creation of user interfaces on all devices based on input from the Experience Design team and from the consumer
  
  

What Would Make You a Match

• Student with a focus on Interaction Design/ Multimedia design/ Graphic Design/ Communication design, or a similar field
• Enrolled as full-time student for the complete duration of the internship
• Or in the so-called gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree (gap year regulation only applicable to EU citizens due to working permit regulations)
• Good understanding of User Experience Design
• Basic knowledge of design & high-level wireframing tools, HTML & CSS
• Creative, positive and pro-active team player with a passion for user-centered design
• Structured, organized and process orientated, with an analytical mindset
• High resilience and solution-oriented attitude
• Team player who enjoys working in an international environment
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong MS Office skills
• Fluent in English both verbally and written

ELIGIBILITY

• Enrolled as full-time student for the complete duration of the internship
• Candidates in penultimate year of study preferred (following the internship, students should have maximum one year to graduate)
• Availability for the full duration of the internship from September 2025 – March 2026
• Local to Amsterdam/Ability to relocate to Amsterdam for the full duration of the internship
