Location: Gothenburg, Sweden (Hybrid - 2/3 days onsite per week)

Contract: 6-Month Initial Contract (Extensions to Follow)

Job Description:

Searching for a Power BI Specialist for a 6-month initial contract, with extensions to follow. This role is based in Gothenburg, Sweden, with a hybrid work model requiring 2 to 3 days per week onsite.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Business Intelligence & Reporting, with a focus on Power BI. You will be responsible for gathering business requirements, designing intuitive dashboards, and collaborating closely with data engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
• Gather requirements directly from business stakeholders and translate them into actionable insights.
• Conduct requirement elicitation through presentations, user stories, and functional mapping documents.
• Utilize UI/UX best practices to create visually compelling and user-friendly reports for effective data storytelling.
• Perform strong data modelling & schematic modelling to optimize reporting structures.
• Work with cloud-based data warehouses (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) to ensure seamless data integration.
• Implement Power BI security best practices for data protection and user access management.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data accuracy and integrity, understanding backend processes and data flow.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in Business Intelligence & Reporting, with hands-on expertise in Power BI.
• Experience working with other reporting tools such as Qlik or Tableau is a plus.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, schematic modelling, and UI/UX design principles.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
• Understanding of Power BI security best practices for handling sensitive data.
• Basic knowledge of data engineering concepts and ability to collaborate effectively with data engineers.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into effective reporting solutions.
