Salary: 1000-1200 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 1 day per week from the office)

Project

The Trading Risk Platform project focuses on building a robust and scalable system to manage, analyze, and mitigate risks associated with trading activities. The platform is designed to process large volumes of data in real-time, ensuring the delivery of accurate risk assessments and facilitating informed decision-making. The project emphasizes the development of microservices using Java and Kotlin while incorporating modern data processing technologies such as Kafka and SQL databases.

Responsibilities You'll Have

• Analyse, design, develop & test Java/ Kotlin (REST, gRPC or Message driven) microservices for the core part of Trading Risk platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements
• Ensure efficient data flow and processing using Kafka for messaging and PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or Oracle for data storage
• Optimize microservice performance and ensure seamless integration within the platform
• Implement best practices in coding, testing, and documentation to maintain code quality and project standards
  
  

Expected competences and knowledge

• 5+ years of experience as Java Developer
• Good Java 11+ knowledge
• Good oral and written communication skills in English
• Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns
• Nice to have:
• Experience in building data pipelines based on Kafka, PostgreSQL, Snowflake or Oracle
• Knowledge of SQL and Docker
