Job Description
Responsible to design, build and operate datacenters and core Network security platforms to support all payment processing solutions and systems across the organization
The design, Implementation and operations support role is accountable to ensure the availability, performance, security and risks related to all Network and Security infrastructure platforms and solutions in use.

The Job Responsibilities Include
- Support in the design, implementation and manage network infrastructure platforms across the global locations employing industry accepted standards mandatory for the critical payment processing infrastructure.
- Work closely with Information Technology Management to determine business process and productivity needs and define appropriate technology strategy to support business goals
- Implement and support projects including datacenter, connectivity and network security solutions
- Monitor and optimize global networks and perform capacity planning of the WAN services
- Implement resilience across the network infrastructure to support business operations and maintain security standards and best practices
- Conform to technology and cyber security policies regarding operational procedures and ensure compliance.
- Work closely with vendors and leadership teams to ensure smooth operations of business service processes.
- Plan and schedule Infra project guidelines and goals while ensuring timelines are met
- Recommend network & security platform enhancements aligning with IT strategy and business plans
- Performs security reviews and mitigate findings of risk assessments on the network and security platforms
Network & Security Design
- Design and implement Network & Security solutions for On-Premises and cloud datacenter platforms
- Integration of Network & Security platforms and adhere security and regulatory compliance for transaction processing environments
- Closely work with the ISP’s and ensure the global connectivity links & infrastructure is resilient
- Deploy and maintain resilient connectivity across the data center, cloud environments with clients, partners and operating regions.
- Configure and maintain core network infrastructure platforms covering routers, switches, wireless, NAC, Firewalls, Proxy, PS and F5 LTM
- Deploy and operate the network infrastructure fully resilient as per the business transaction processing platforms requirement
- Ensure that availability of services exceed the defined service levels.
- Maintain Network security infrastructure environment and ensure no impact to the business operations requirements
- Define performance management parameters for related services and ensure the services exceed the defined performance levels.
- Review performance regularly and ensure proactive actions and communication to avoid disruption to services.
- Ensure that changes to Network security are managed and operated within the agreed service levels.
- Ensure that changes to the platforms are performed within the architecture guidelines.
- Provide L2/L3 support for incidents and problems in close coordination with all relevant stakeholders
- Ensure incidents and problems do not impact the agreed service levels.
- Ensure disaster recovery capabilities are built and maintained for the critical Network & Security infrastructure and for all external & Internal connectivity supporting the business platforms.
- Work closely with all application and business teams to achieve overall disaster recovery and continuity to suit organizational needs.
- Ensure network devices are operating efficiently and meeting performance requirements.
- Implement and enforce network policies and procedures to maintain network integrity and security.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of network devices to identify vulnerabilities or areas for improvement.
- Firmware Upgrades and Patch Management
- Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO27001).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
- Removing residual risk and providing solution that comply with the NI policies
Education
- Educated to Degree level from a recognized university in computer science or relevant subject in technology. Preferably holds an Engineering degree.
- CCNP/CCIE certifications in Datacenter, Routing & Switching and Security
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
- Expert level knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise network security principles and practices.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Familiarity with network performance optimization techniques and QoS mechanisms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem management skills.
