Title: Network Administrator

Duration: 9-month contract, potential conversion or extension

Location: Remote in Denver, CO

Schedule: 8am-5pm MST

Pay Rate: 30-35/hr


Required Skills & Experience


  • 3 years of experience with Layer 2 network switching and routing -\
  • 3 years of experience with Cisco switches and routers
  • Experience working in ServiceNow ticketing system
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers, vendors, users, and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
  • Valid US Driver's License and ability to travel to remote work sites within a 50-mile radius.


Nice to Have Skills & Experience


  • Network Protocols (TCP/IP protocol suite, QoS/CoS, IPSec, SSL, SNMP, multicast, NetFlow/NBAR, OSPF, BGP routing protocols, VLANs, VLAN Trunking Protocol, Spanning Tree Protocol, and link aggregation and segmentation concepts and technologies)
  • IP addressing and subnetting
  • Experience managing ISP's, Circuits, and Scheduling Cut overs
  • Network infrastructure components (routers, switches)
  • Network operations (manage switching, VLANs, ACLs, Management access etc.)
  • Troubleshooting methodologies using the OSI Model


Job Description


Insight Global is looking for a Network Administrator to work Remotely in Denver, Colorado. The Network Administrator 2 position involves providing technical support for network communications, including the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of network equipment like routers, switches, and wireless access points. The position requires ticketing monitoring as well as technical operations support, responding to critical outages, and assisting with network design and configuration. The ideal candidate will be located in Denver Colorado and be able/willing to travel no more than 50 miles to perform occasional on-site tasks that fall within the duties and responsibilities outlined above. Additionally, the role includes project engagement, documentation and monitoring of network infrastructure, vendor coordination, and managing inventory of network hardware and software assets. Strong communication skills with customers, vendors, users, and clients is essential for this position. Pay Rage: $30/hour - $35/hour* *The pay rate for this position may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, and certifications. Additionally, the final pay rate may be contingent upon the successful completion of pre-employment requirements such as background checks, drug testing, and physical examinations.
