INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER (OPS ENG)

Primary Purpose Of The Job

Oversees the complete lifecycle of /MoC projects, from front-end engineering design through tendering process, contract award, detail engineering procurement, construction, and commissioning. Responsible for developing and reviewing technical specifications for control systems and instrumentation, and providing advanced (Tier 3) technical support to operations. Plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, reliability, and efficient performance of instrumentation and control systems within the project or facility.

Required Experience And Skills

8+ years of experience in managing /MoC projects in oil and gas or petrochemical industries, covering all phases from front-end engineering design to commissioning. Skilled in developing and reviewing technical specifications for control systems and instrumentation, as well as conducting reliability and risk assessments. Proficient in providing advanced technical support to operations and ensuring the integrity, reliability, and efficient performance of instrumentation systems. Understands Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies.

Educational Qualifications

BSc. Electrical or Control/Instrumentation Engineering Degree.
