Senior Flutter Engineer

N-iX is looking for a motivated Senior Flutter Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications
Write readable, testable, functional, and high-performant code
Refactor existing code and create documentation for the same
Participate and take responsibility for all stages of the mobile app development life cycle
Guide in the preparation and production of software components
Ensure designs comply with specifications
Explore alternatives and new technologies for architectural review to ensure continuous improvement
Monitor and mentor more junior engineers with the latest programming languages and technologies

Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of professional experience in mobile software development (we allow rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Previous experience in developing iOS and/or Android apps with Flutter
Knowledge of application deployment on AppStore, Google Play, or Github
Strong understanding of third-party libraries and APIs
Hands-on experience with automated testing and building
Expertise in version control tools including Git, Jenkins, etc.
Significant expertise in mobile development life cycle
Fluency in the English language for effective communication
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week), ideally with a 4-hour overlap with US time zones

Skills:

Experience in working with Firebase Storage, Firestore, and Analytics
Knowledge of general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and new technologies
Previous experience with education, notetaking or scanning applications is a plus
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
