Analytics Engineer

We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our team due to an increased scope and growing business. This role will be crucial in accelerating our transition to a new reporting solution and database while ensuring the data and service quality during and after the transformation. As part of the Financial and Regulatory Reporting team, you will help develop data queries, enhance data quality assurance, configure systems of automated reporting and improve our processes and tooling. You will directly support key stakeholders—including accounting, compliance, audit, and regulatory teams—by providing accurate, timely, and well-structured data to inform critical decisions and meet various precision-driven reporting needs.

What You’ll Do

• Test and deploy database object changes.
• Contribute to database tables and views development with a focus on quality and performance.
• Maintain and configure reporting tools.
• Administer and enhance automation processes to improve workflow efficiency.
• Update documentation and identify further opportunities for automation and process improvements.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure a seamless end-user experience.
  
  

Required Knowledge And Skills

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, with a preference for Snowflake experience.
• Good understanding of non-SQL programming languages, with Python being preferred.
• Experience with DBT, GitHub, and Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence); familiarity with Airflow and Linux is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Looker or Tableau is welcomed.
• Strong attention to detail and a natural curiosity for evaluating complex systems.
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across multiple continents and time zones.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills to work in an international environment.
