Digital Product Owner

Job Summary

We are excited to welcome our new Digital Product Owner at our company.

The position is a remote opportunity but it is preferred to have someone near our sites in Benicarlo, Spain or Brugge, Belgium.

This position will work closely with Business and Function Users to support the digital platforms from end-to-end, expanding usage and improving system functionality to enhance operational efficiency and improve user experience. EtQ is one of the key platforms you will be working with. You will be part of the Digital Operation Manufacturing Systems team.

Responsibilities

As a Digital Product Owner, you will:

• Drive improvement of existing application features and standardize User Experience (UX) of new projects in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Understand and streamline the user experience for maximum user efficiency within the system.
• Gather, evaluate, and articulate the needs and requirements of the applications through:
• Creating documentation on business processes specific to the system.
• Defining how processes should function within the system.
• Identifying core elements and creating process flow diagrams.
• Conducting interviews (in person or remote) to gather user requirements.
• Run collaborative workshops with cross-functional teams from the area of business to understand needs, discuss, and align on priorities related to the system.
• Lead testing of applications throughout the deployment process:
• Working with business users to ensure applications meet user expectations.
• Preparing communication plans and supporting content for the system.
• Managing the testing and support of applications with the super user community.
• Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to ensure effective adoption and utilization of the system.
• Align with the Digital Project Manager on deliverables and milestones for projects.
• Define, analyze, and continuously monitor application metrics to enhance the performance of the tool/application.

• Fluent in English, additional languages preferred.
• Expertise in EtQ, knowledge of Jira preferred but not required.
• Experience working with Cross-Functional teams across the organization, including business users, IT developers, and UX/UI designers.
• Ability to work with a variety of tools to conduct research and present those concepts to others.
  

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ work experience in QMS and digital systems implementation.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written
• EtQ experience preferred
• Understanding of coding languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Degree in engineering or related experience.
