System Engineer

Are you the driven team player we are looking for to join us as a System Engineer?

We at Valmet Automation Tampere Supply Center are looking for a System Engineers to join our Initialization & System Testing team serving global automation system deliveries. Your main responsibilities are installing and configuring e.g. network devices (switches, routers & firewalls), servers, process stations and workstations for our Valmet DNA automation system delivery projects. You work in co-operation with different internal functions to provide high-quality initialized equipment for the automation projects.

Our expectations for you

• Suitable technical education, e.g. B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation or ICT
• Experience of initialization (e.g. servers, process stations, workstations, switches, routers) for automation systems
• Understanding of automation systems and IP network
• Knowledge of virtual systems (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Experience and knowledge of Valmet DNA automation or other similar automation system is considered as an advantage
• Fluent Finnish and English, both written and spoken
• IT and system skills
• Capability to work under pressure and thrive in a versatile project environment
• Problem solving skills and initiative attitude
