Head of Software Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and work with a multidisciplinary team to develop innovative software solutions for laboratory automation.
• Contribute to software design, architecture, and data modeling.
• Develop software for PC and embedded systems using C++, C#, and other programming languages.
• Support the maintenance and improvement of sophisticated laboratory systems.
• Plan and execute system tests.
• Create technical documentation for software projects.
• Provide technical assistance and training support to global service teams.

Your Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of work experience preferably in Medtech or similar fields
• Degree in a technical or scientific field with some experience in software development.
• Strong programming skills in C++ or C#.
• Experience with embedded and database systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of clean code practices, coding principles, and design patterns.
• Team player with an organized, independent, and goal-oriented work style.
• Fleuncy in German (at least B2) and English (C1), with an emphasis on technical English communication.
