About the Company: 

The company is a regulated Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) in Lithuania, offering a secure and compliant crypto payment gateway for businesses. As we expand, we are seeking an experienced and regulatory-savvy CEO to lead company, ensuring full compliance with MiCAR (Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation) and other applicable European and Lithuanian laws. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the company’s vision, strategy, and operational plan, ensuring sustainable growth in the digital asset payment industry. 
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with MiCAR and all Lithuanian VASP regulatory requirements, working closely with the Bank of Lithuania and other relevant authorities. 
• Risk Management: Develop and oversee risk management frameworks to ensure security, AML compliance, and adherence to international financial regulations. 
• Corporate Governance: Maintain strong governance practices, ensuring transparency, accountability, and ethical business operations. 
• Business Development: Drive the expansion of crypto payment solutions, forming partnerships with merchants, financial institutions, and blockchain technology providers. 
• Financial Oversight: Oversee the company’s financial health, ensuring compliance with capital requirements and financial reporting obligations. 
• Technology & Security: Ensure the payment gateway infrastructure is secure, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices for crypto transactions. 
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with regulators, investors, partners, and clients to foster strong relationships and market credibility. 
• Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, compliance, and operational excellence. 

Key Qualifications & Experience: 

• Proven C-level or senior leadership experience in crypto, fintech, payments, or financial services. 
• Strong knowledge of MiCAR, AMLD5/6, and Lithuanian VASP regulations. 
• Experience working with regulatory authorities and ensuring financial compliance. 
• Deep understanding of crypto payment solutions, blockchain technology, and security risks. 
• Strong strategic, financial, and operational leadership skills. 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage relationships with regulators, investors, and key stakeholders. 
• Fluency in English and Lithuanian. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience leading a regulated financial institution or crypto exchange/payment provider. 
• Knowledge of EU financial services regulations beyond crypto (e.g., PSD2, GDPR). 
• Strong understanding of fraud prevention, KYC/AML policies, and transaction monitoring in crypto payments.
