Are you passionate about automation and cloud technology? At Getronics, we are looking for dynamic Automic Workload Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance our Client Workspace. You'll be driving automation, integration, and business continuity, all while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Role Purpose
The Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automation workflows using Automic Workload Automation (UC4), ensuring high availability and performance. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices for automation processes. Additionally, the successful candidate will support upgrades, manage configurations, and provide technical documentation.
Key Accountability
- Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows using Automic Workload Automation (UC4).
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand automation requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Automic Workload Automation, ensuring high availability and performance of automation processes.
- Implement and enforce best practices for workload automation, including error handling, logging, and monitoring.
- Perform upgrades, patching, and configuration management of Automic Workload Automation components.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and operational procedures.
- Provide support and guidance to end-users on Automic Workload Automation tools and processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Automic Workload Automation (UC4), including development, configuration, and maintenance of automation workflows.
- Strong understanding of scheduling concepts, job dependencies, and workflow orchestration.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python / Bash / Powershell ) for automation tasks.
- Experience with database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and writing SQL queries.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other CA Autosys would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Kubernetes would be an advantage
