SENIOR .NET DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES

The role's main purpose is to write clean and scalable code using .NET programming languages, testing and deploying applications and systems to improve existing software. You will participate in requirements analysis and prioritise tasks, collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture and revise, update, refactor and debug code.

As a Senior .NET Developer, you will develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) and serve as an expert on applications, providing technical support for programs and applications to customers and other team members.

The successful Senior .NET Developer will use analytical and problem-solving skills to develop solutions that may include a variety of complex business requirements. You will troubleshoot technical programs, products and applications and redesign programs as needed to make them more efficient and effective. You will need to have the ability to learn new products and technologies as they become available.

SENIOR .NET DEVELOPER REQUIREMENTS

Must-have:

• Proven experience as a Senior .NET Engineer, with a strong background in designing and developing scalable applications
• Expertise in ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, and modern architectural patterns (Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture)
• Proficiency in C# and deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Hands-on experience with APIs and integrating third-party services
• Cloud expertise, particularly with Azure (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates)
• Strong advocate of Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience in Scrum/Kanban environments
• Proven ability to drive technical decisions, mentor team members, and contribute to architectural discussions
• Expertise in testing strategies, including TDD, BDD, unit testing, and automated testing frameworks
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with React for building front-end components in full-stack solutions
• Knowledge of TypeScript
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes
• Security best practices
