Product Ops Analyst

We are looking for a motivated Product Ops Analyst to join the map production team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in data analysis and operations and a demonstrable ability to deliver insights that drive strategic decisions.

Objectives of this Role

• Develop metrics and simulation models to comprehend the operational landscape across multiple workflows;
• Conduct detailed analysis of data to create insights that influence strategic and operational decisions;
• Develop reliable data collection and validation processes;
• Co-work with the data engineering team to facilitate automation of data processes;
• Implement pioneering analytics systems, simplifying complex problems into comprehensible frameworks;
• Create best practices reports based on data mining, analysis and visualisation;
• Identify growth trends and opportunities via the analysis of complex datasets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, computer science, economics, or statistics;
• Minimum one year of experience as a data analyst;
• Proven analytic skills, including data mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization;
• Experience with technical writing, including queries, reports, and presentations;
• Solid experience in Excel and foundation SQL for data query and manipulation, and experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI;
• Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Closely work with project managers to comprehend their analytical needs, determine critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver valuable insights to the appropriate decision-makers;
• Proactively analyze data to find answers to key queries, spotting performance trends, and identifying areas needing improvement in efficiency and productivity;
• Create and maintain interactive visualizations through data interpretation; integrating reporting components from multiple data sources;
• Define and execute strategies for data acquisition and integration to ensure optimal scalability and efficiency of the solution;
• Acquire and manage databases by sourcing data from primary and secondary sources, and construct scripts to improve versatility across multiple datasets.
