Big Data & Analytics Center of Excellence is a data consulting and data engineering branch at SoftServe. Starting as a group of three enthusiasts back in 2013, hundreds of Data Engineers and Architects nowadays build Data & Analytics end-to-end solutions from strategy through technical design and PoC to full-scale implementation. We have customers in the Healthcare, Finance, Manufacturing, Retail, and Energy domains.

We hold top-level partnership statuses with all the major cloud providers and collaborate with many technology partners like AWS, GCP, Microsoft, Databricks, Snowflake, Confluent, and others.

IF YOU ARE

Experienced Data Architect with hands-on expertise in building large-scale Data Platforms and decision-support systems
Possessing a proven record of success in delivering Big Data & Analytics solutions
Knowledgeable of modern Data & Analytics technology stacks and architectural patterns
Adept in breaking down customer requirements into development tasks, estimating effort, and leading a team of fellow data engineers
Skilled in designing and implementing enterprise-scale Data & Analytics solutions using the Big Data technology stack in Azure
Proactive in acting as a customer-facing consultant responsible for eliciting customer requirements, translating them into technical architecture, and presenting decisions and proposals to customers
Proficient in SQL and Python programming languages
Versatile in working with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, and other Azure Data-related services
Competent in Apache Kafka or Azure Event Hub, Azure IoT Hub, and Azure Stream Analytics for data streaming and event processing
Experienced in establishing and enforcing data governance policies using Unity Catalog in Databricks for centralized data access control, lineage, and auditing
Knowledgeable in implementing role-based access control (RBAC) and data encryption (at rest and in transit) to ensure data security and compliance with regulations like GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA
Capable of defining and managing data quality frameworks, metadata management, and data cataloging within Databricks
Experienced in working with Databricks Workflows and Jobs
Familiar with SQL Warehouse usage
Possessing a strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Possessing valuable pre-sales and consulting experience (would be a plus)
