About Us

At Opus Dental, we develop a leading electronic patient journal system for private and public dental clinics. Building on decades of industry leadership, we're embarking on a major modernization journey—transitioning from a Knockout.js-based front end to a modern React and TypeScript architecture while evolving our .NET and Azure-based back end.

To accelerate this transformation, we seek a Senior Full-Stack Developer who will drive technical improvements, mentor junior developers, and help shape the future of dental technology.

Your Role

As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you will:

• Lead the front-end modernization – Guide our UI transition from Knockout.js to a React- and TypeScript-based component architecture.
• Architect & Develop – Create scalable solutions across the front end (React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS) and back end (.NET, ASP.NET, Azure, SQL Server).
• Balance Legacy & Future – Maintain the existing Knockout.js front end while steering its strategic replacement.
• Mentor & Lead – Guide junior developers, lead code reviews, and champion best practices in modern software development.
• Enhance Performance & UX – Deliver a fast, accessible, and user-friendly experience for dental professionals.
• Work with Cross-Functional Teams – Partner with UX designers, back-end developers, and product managers to build intuitive software.
• Ensure Quality – Develop and maintain unit tests (xUnit), enforce coding standards, and optimize performance.

Who You Are

We seek a proactive, forward-thinking developer with:

• 7+ years of experience in web and cloud development.
• Strong front-end expertise with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) and readiness to transition from Knockout.js.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and component-based architectures.
• Solid back-end experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and Microsoft Azure.
• Database experience with MS SQL Server, NHibernate and Entity Framework.
• A mentorship mindset – You thrive on coaching junior developers, leading code reviews, and fostering a culture of learning.
• Familiarity with desktop development (WPF, WinForms) is a plus.
• Experience with agile development and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in Swedish or Norwegian, and English.
