Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and hands-on Engineering Delivery Manager to lead delivery for one of the departments within the State Street Charles River Development (CRD)/ Alpha Platform Engineering organization. The role will report into the Head of Engineering Delivery within the CRD/ Alpha CTO Organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Book of Work from the Engineering perspective: report status, identify delivery risks, ensure roadmaps are in place, identify and address resource gaps
• Track Performance vs. KPIs: measure results and ensure accountability
• Drive Execution: Ensure teams deliver on time, on budget, with quality
• Unblock Teams: Identify obstacles to keep engineering moving
• Optimize Processes: Streamline workflows for faster, smoother delivery
• Ensure Adherence to Standards: SDLC compliance, agile best practices
• Risk and Control: provide support for corporate audits as needed
• Oversee headcount and vendor contracts, support hiring and onboarding of new resources
  
  
  

Requirements And Skills

• 8+ years of experience successfully implementing and leading engineering delivery
• Hands -on experience running cross-functional, ideally global, programs with budget over $5MM
• Experience of working with multiple stakeholders, influencing decision-making
• Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
• Practical knowledge of Agile methodology. SAFe Agilist, Certified Scrum Master certifications are a plus
• Knowledge of MS Office, JIRA, Microsoft Project and ability to implement roadmaps in JIRA
• Ability to learn and absorb technical information
• Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent nuanced communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving ability
• BSc/BA degree in, Engineering, Math, Science; MSc/MA is a plus
