Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst responsible for strategizing, designing, and constructing effective systems that facilitate payment-related business processes. This involves collecting and analyzing data to support business cases, proposed projects, and system requirements.

The Business Analyst is expected to:

• Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs
• Develop a communication process to manage the expectations of both internal and external customers
• Take charge of multiple projects by accomplishing and revising project documentation, overseeing project boundaries, making schedule adjustments as needed, establishing daily priorities, and ensuring the prompt and efficient completion of project tasks
• Meet with the software and analysts team daily to review task deliverables and deadlines
• Develop and execute test plans
• Create and examine the necessary documentation for business and systems analysis, including but not limited to business requirements, use cases, flow diagrams, and UAT plan
• Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to analysts
• Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders
• Engage in discussions with various stakeholders to understand and address their diverse needs and expectations
• Act as an intermediary between business teams and IT, facilitating the collection or assistance in gathering of business requirements essential for system modifications, enhancements, and implementations

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MIS or Management fields

Min. 3 years of experience, preferably in the fintech, banking or finance industry

Ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks within a demanding and high-pressure environment.

Ability to model and analyze business processes using tools such as Visio.

Experience in writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.

Ability to conduct analysis meetings with technical and business teams to gather requirements.

Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman and SOAP UI.

Expertise in managing the planning, creation, and deployment of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products

Excellent abilities in analytical thinking, mathematical proficiency, and innovative problem-solving

Excellent written and oral communication skills in addition to listening and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of BDD processes is a plus

High attention to detail

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
