ROLE PURPOSE
As a Data Science Engineer in our team, you will be responsible for assessing complex new data sources and quickly turning these into business insights. You will visually demonstrate data concepts and use-cases that will provide business value to our customers. You also will support the implementation and integration of these new data sources into our Big Data platform.

ROLE PURPOSE
As a Data Science Engineer in our team, you will be responsible for assessing complex new data sources and quickly turning these into business insights. You will visually demonstrate data concepts and use-cases that will provide business value to our customers. You also will support the implementation and integration of these new data sources into our Big Data platform.
Responsibilities
- Manage Data Warehouse/Data Lake plans for a product or a group of products.
- A Team-Player, collaborating with engineers, product managers and product analysts to understand data needs.
- Build data expertise and own data quality for allocated areas of ownership.
- Design, build and launch new Data Models in production.
- Design, build and launch new data extraction, transformation, and loading processes in production.
- Defining and managing SLAs for all data sets in allocated areas of ownership.
- Work with data infrastructure to triage INFRA issues and drive to resolution.
- Transform ambiguity into clarity.
- Enjoy collaborating in a multicultural and diverse environment that expands to include various geographic locations.
- Have stellar communication skills, effectively expressing yourself. You convey and receive information in a clear, credible and consistent manner
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years experience working on Big Data technologies.
- Experience in developing deep learning models
- 2+ years' experience on developing image processing/computer vision algorithms. Experience integrating with Elastic, RabbitMQ, Kafka.
- Experience in DevOps (Docker, Docker swarm).
- Experience with a Cloud provider such as GCP, AWS, etc.
- Experience with geospatial libraries is a plus.
- Experience working with Python.
- Experience working with version management tools such as GitHub, GitLab.
- Technical competencies: Pytorch and other DL and CV libraries
- Excellent skills in software development in Python,or Java, Scala or Go
- Experience with one Cloud provider such as GCP, AWS,Azure,etc.
- Version management tools such as GitHub, GitLab
