As the Head of AI, you will lead the strategy, development, and deployment of our AI-driven products and solutions. You will play a key role as leadership in shaping the AI roadmap, building a robust AI team, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration while navigating the challenges of an early-stage startup environment. This is a hands-on role that requires active participation in technical decision-making and product development.

Your new role

As the Head of AI, you will be responsible for:

• AI Agent & RAG Development: Build and deploy autonomous AI agents using LangChain, Auto-GPT, OpenAI API, and DeepSeek.
• Develop retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines for real-time knowledge retrieval using vector databases.
• Develop and execute the organization's AI strategy, aligning it with business objectives and driving innovation across various departments.
• Lead a team of AI experts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in developing cutting-edge AI solutions.
• Identify and evaluate AI opportunities to improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and drive business growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into AI solutions and applications.
• Stay up to date with the latest AI technologies, trends, and industry developments, and assess their potential impact on our organization.
• Drive the development and implementation of AI models, algorithms, and solutions, ensuring they meet high standards of accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with external AI vendors, research institutions, and industry experts to stay at the forefront of AI advancements.
• Champion ethical AI practices and ensure compliance with privacy and data protection regulations.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate the value and impact of AI initiatives, promoting a data-driven culture within the organization.

What you need

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience (at least 8-10 years) in leading AI initiatives, with a track record of successful AI project implementations.
• Software Development: Write scalable code in Python, R, integrating AI models into production systems.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of various AI techniques, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools, frameworks, and programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Experience in applying AI in real-world business contexts, driving tangible outcomes and value creation.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of AI experts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to drive organizational change and foster a culture of innovation.
• Familiarity with ethical considerations and regulatory frameworks related to AI.
