Role Overview

The role focuses on advancing communications technology, bridging research with practical applications, and contributing to a nation's communications ecosystem development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct technical due diligence on communications technology providers.
• Collaborate to develop prototypes and use cases for emerging technologies.
• Manage grant programs for tech adoption, research, and workforce development.
• Facilitate workshops, events, and international collaborations in communications technology.
• Contribute to initiatives like 5G, next-gen infrastructure, and emerging network technologies.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• PhD, Master's or Bachelors' Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields.
• Expertise in 5G/6G, optical, and satellite communications technologies (hardware/software).
• Experience in advanced communications fields, translating technical concepts into applications.
• Familiarity with programming languages (Python, C++) and relevant software tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and due diligence skills.
• Knowledge of international communications standards/regulations is a plus.
