At OBRIO, we live by our principle of Follow the Data, and as a Payments Analyst, you'll play a key role in helping the company effectively manage payment data, minimize risks, reduce operational costs, and boost payment success rate. Collaborating closely with the Payment Team (Head of Payments, Data Engineering, BI Analytics Team, and Lead Analyst), as well as cross-functional teams, you’ll help drive continuous improvement in our payment operations.

Your Impact

• Analyze payment transactions to identify and address risky users.
• Evaluate the efficiency of payment cascades and routing, uncovering opportunities for improvement.
• Work with risk metrics and developing measures to reduce them.
• Generate and implement ideas to optimize operational costs in payment processing.
• Formulate hypotheses to improve payment success rate and test changes.
  
  

About You

• 1+ years of experience in analytics (if you have less commercial experience, a strong academical background or own outside projects will be a plus);
• Strong knowledge of SQL;
• Proven track-record of high level of proactivity and ability to generate innovative ideas.;
• Strong business acumen with the ability to make data-driven decisions that align with company goals and drive business growth;
• Strong critical thinking abilities as well as capability to ask insightful questions;
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  
  

Nice-to-have

• Knowledge of Python to automate analysis;
• Experience with payment data and metrics;
• Basic understanding of payment processes and metrics.
