Developer

We are looking for an experienced Wordpress & Woocommerce Developer with experience in Liquid ( Salesforce and Shopfiy ) to join our small boutique team, based in Sydney. 

As a capable, motivated self-starter, you will hit the ground running with your outstanding development skills, lead projects from a technical perspective and help drive the technical offering of the company going forward.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Lead Developer with and while working with a small close-knit (and fun) team.

We are offering flexible working hours with a full-time contract and hybrid work (remote and on site)

The remuneration offered will be based upon experience.

LOCATION: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• Support with current eCommerce clients with small tasks
• Develop custom systems and plugins for current clients
• Be responsible for maintaining and improving client’s established websites
• Support the Lead Developer and other key stakeholders in project delivery from a technical standpoint and contribute to establishing best practices.
• Supporting with Web Design and Development projects
• Be accountable for code quality, deployment, and delivery of development projects.
• Some customer liaison may be required. 
• Desired: Liquid (Shopify Language) or Apex ( Salesforce )

We would like you to:

• Have extensive experience in HTML/CSS/JavaScript/JQuery/PHP.
• Have a strong background WordPress & Woocommerce (Themes, customizations, plugins, Integration etc)
• Be very comfortable taking accountability for top-notch maintenance and CI for sites that have already launched.
• Be experienced and knowledgeable in integrating third party APIs with Woocommerce.
• Have demonstrated ability to become a subject matter expert on aspects of technology through research and self-education.
• Be able to explain to our customers some technical / custom systems in a non-tech way.
• Have a good overall understanding of hosting infrastructure.
• Be very confident and knowledgeable in all things eCommerce and be happy to pick up established site’s ongoing maintenance.
• Be comfortable working in a small, cross-functional development team.
• Have the ability to write high-quality and well-documented code, adhering to best practices at all times.
• Have exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
