Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Unix system administration, microservices architecture, and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployments, automate infrastructure, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our systems.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Unix/Linux-based systems to support DevOps workflows.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and related cloud-native technologies.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment and updates.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
- Optimize and enhance microservices-based applications in cloud or on-prem environments.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues to ensure high availability and security.
- Collaborate with software engineers to improve system reliability and scalability.
- Maintain and enhance logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or System Administration role.
- Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux system administration.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, monitoring, troubleshooting).
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, or similar).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and cloud-native best practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of networking, security, and performance optimization.
