Data Center Project Manager

As a Data Centre Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex data centre projects, from initial planning and design to construction, commissioning, and handover. You'll lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure project success.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential issues and ensuring smooth project delivery.
• Budget & Cost Control: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective project execution.
• Vendor Management: Select, negotiate with, and manage vendors and contractors, ensuring adherence to project requirements and quality standards.
• Quality & Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Commissioning & Handover: Oversee the commissioning and handover of data centre facilities, ensuring seamless transition to operations.
• Reporting & Documentation: Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, maintaining accurate project documentation.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in managing data centre construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure, including power, cooling, and networking systems.
• Excellent project management skills, including experience with project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Prince2).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
