With over 400 employees across Europe, we’re scaling globally, and to drive our next stage of growth, we are looking for an ambitious Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to lead growth marketing, organic product expansion, and revenue acceleration across B2C and B2B channels.
As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will work at the intersection of growth, product, marketing, and finance to scale customer acquisition, increase retention, drive transaction volume, and maximize revenue growth.
About The Role
As Chief Growth Officer, you will be responsible for building and executing a data-driven growth strategy that accelerates TransferGo’s expansion into new markets, optimizes user acquisition, and drives customer lifetime value (LTV). This role requires a deep understanding of fintech growth levers, organic product-led growth (PLG), and performance marketing.
You will lead a cross-functional team across growth marketing, product, data analytics, and partnerships, working closely with the CEO, CTO, CFO, and VP of Marketing to scale revenue and build a category-defining fintech brand.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Growth Strategy & Revenue Acceleration
- Define and execute a comprehensive growth strategy that aligns with revenue goals.
- Lead organic product-led growth (PLG) initiatives to drive self-sustaining adoption.
- Develop multi-channel acquisition strategies to scale B2C remittance and B2B SME payments.
- Optimize customer LTV by enhancing retention, increasing transaction frequency, and expanding use cases.
- Product Growth & Expansion
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to drive in-product virality and seamless onboarding.
- Identify and implement growth loops, referral incentives, and network effects to increase user acquisition.
- Enhance UX and conversion funnels by leveraging A/B testing, behavioral analytics, and CRO.
- Lead expansion into high-growth remittance corridors and emerging economies.
- Performance Marketing & User Acquisition
- Develop a high-ROI growth marketing engine across paid, organic, and lifecycle channels.
- Optimize SEO, ASO, paid media (Google, Facebook, TikTok), influencer marketing, and affiliate programs.
- Lead growth hacking initiatives to acquire customers cost-effectively.
- Use data analytics, predictive modeling, and AI-driven personalization to optimize campaigns.
- Retention & Customer Lifecycle Growth
- Increase user retention, engagement, and reactivation through data-driven lifecycle marketing.
- Build and optimize CRM, email, SMS, and push notification strategies to drive transaction volume.
- Leverage customer insights, churn analysis, and behavioral data to improve user experience.
- B2B Growth & Partnerships
- Develop B2B growth strategies for SMEs and enterprise payments.
- Partner with banks, fintechs, and payment processors to expand business adoption.
- Build strategic alliances with diaspora communities, influencers, and key industry stakeholders.
- Go-To-Market (GTM) Execution
- Own GTM strategy for new products, features, and international expansion.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Sales to refine messaging and market positioning.
- Develop a scalable, repeatable playbook for expansion into new markets.
- Data-Driven Growth & Experimentation
- Establish key growth metrics (CAC, LTV, ARPU, conversion rates, transaction frequency).
- Drive a test-and-learn culture using A/B testing, growth experiments, and funnel optimization.
- Work closely with Data Science and Analytics teams to inform decision-making.
- Financial & Commercial Growth Alignment
- Partner with the CFO and finance team to optimize customer acquisition costs (CAC) and marketing ROI.
- Align growth initiatives with profitability and revenue expansion goals.
- Leverage pricing, incentives, and monetization strategies to maximize revenue.
- Revenue growth & transaction volume

- Market expansion success (growth in key remittance corridors)
- Organic product growth & virality metrics
- 10+ years of experience in growth marketing, revenue acceleration, or product-led growth at a fintech, payments, or high-growth digital business.
- Proven track record in scaling fintech startups or financial services platforms.
- Deep understanding of organic growth mechanics, viral loops, and data-driven acquisition.
- Experience leading performance marketing, SEO, and paid acquisition at scale.
- Strong knowledge of cross-border payments, remittances, and fintech ecosystem dynamics.
- Analytical mindset with expertise in data analytics, attribution modeling, and MarTech tools.
- Track record of leading cross-functional growth teams across marketing, product, and finance.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (AML, KYC, PSD2, GDPR) in fintech marketing.
- Experience scaling product-led growth (PLG) fintechs.
- Knowledge of blockchain, crypto payments, or alternative remittance solutions.
- Strong network in fintech, banking, and payments industry.
- Expertise in AI-driven marketing automation and predictive analytics.
