Your mission: With the growing demand for data-driven decision-making in insurance, we are looking for a Data Scientist / Actuary Intern to support our actuarial and analytics team in developing innovative risk modeling, pricing strategies, and predictive analytics.

Be a part of our team where you will:

contribute to projects related to risk modeling, reserving, Solvency II analysis, and predictive analytics. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Data analysis & processing: Extract, clean, and analyze insurance and financial datasets to support risk assessment and pricing models.
  • Actuarial modeling: Assist in reserve calculations, pricing and capital modeling.
  • Predictive analytics & machine learning: develop models to improve claims forecasting, risk scoring, and underwriting decisions.
  • Automation & tool development: Implement Python, R, or VBA scripts to automate actuarial processes and data workflows.
  • Market & captive research: Conduct research on reinsurance structures, market trends, and alternative risk transfer solutions.

You hold a Master’s degree with a specialisation in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or quantitative finance;

  • Previous working experience as an intern data scientist / actuary is a plus;
  • You have basis of actuarial knowledge including understanding of risk modeling, reserving techniques, and capital requirements (Solvency II is a plus)
  • You have an excellent command of Microsoft Office, a good knowledge of VBA, R and Python is a plus;
  • You have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • You are pragmatic, dynamic, rigorous, methodical and precise;
  • You are fluent in English, French or any other languages is an asset;
  • You are intellectually curious and open to other activities in the field of insurance.
