Job Summary

  • Track and analyze project performance, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Provide financial reporting support to Project Managers, including budget vs. actual tracking and revenue forecasting.
  • Monitor resource allocation and billability to optimize project efficiency.
  • Oversee timesheet bookings, invoicing, and project profitability, ensuring accountability.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial documentation and reporting for projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collect and analyze project progress data, generating reports on timesheets, budget vs. forecast vs. actual spent, revenue forecast, and profitability.
  • Provide project control and support by tracking project performance and ensuring compliance with timelines and budgets.
  • Oversee resource allocation and billability to enhance project efficiency.
  • Monitor timesheet bookings, invoicing, and profitability, keeping Project Managers accountable.
  • Assist Project Managers with financial reporting and analysis.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial documentation and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in a PMO role or similar project control function.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good understanding of financial metrics and business operations.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data effectively.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting concepts.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Role-Specific Requirements

  • Experience in project monitoring, financial tracking, and reporting.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to ensure project efficiency and budget adherence.
  • Proficiency in handling financial documentation and project-related reports.

Technologies

  • Project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar).
  • Financial reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or other financial dashboards).
