About TractoAI: TractoAI is built on top of the mature, open-source YTsaurus technology, which boasts a decade-long proven track record within BigTech companies. Our platform is designed to be highly scalable, resilient, and multitenant, capable of handling up to tens of thousands of servers, exabytes of data, millions of CPU cores, and tens of thousands of GPUs. TractoAI is a new experimental direction within Nebius AI, aiming to provide an end-to-end platform solution for all kinds of BigData and AI challenges, including data preparation, distributed training, offline model inference, and more.

We have already secured multiple clients, including such names as JetBrains Mellum, PleIAs.fr. Some of these clients use TractoAI as their primary data lake or as a foundation for large language model (LLM) pre-training.

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team and contribute their expertise in shaping TractoAI into a superior product. You will collaborate closely with a team of accomplished professionals who have played key roles in the success of groundbreaking technological products such as YTsaurus and DataLens. In this role, you will focus on developing the most user-centric and cutting-edge features of TractoAI, including Tracto Notebooks, Tracto Images, Orchestracto and TractoRun. Additionally, you will help drive the next generation of AI-driven capabilities, such as agentic data exploration, dataset and model marketplaces, and a generative AI workflow library, among many others.

As one of your initial responsibilities, you will work on enhancing user-facing learning materials, including technical demonstrations, interactive playgrounds, comprehensive documentation and a solution library.

Must-haves:

• Experience with Cloud and SaaS services.
• Experience in AI domain area, including model training, model fine-tuning and model inference.
• Knowledge of the latest advancements and trends in BigData and AI.
• Experience in creating user-focused educational content such as documentation and tutorials.
• Product management experience, working with cross-functional teams.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, experimental environment and be comfortable with ambiguity.
• Not being afraid of command-line interfaces, Python notebooks and reading logs.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multiple front-end and back-end development teams.
• Define and refine product strategy while prioritizing the development backlog.
• Conduct in-depth competitive analysis, benchmarking TractoAI against both proprietary and open-source solutions.
• Identify the needs and pain points of current and prospective customers, translating them into actionable product strategies.
• Work alongside a core group of product leaders to validate product-market fit and position TractoAI as the industry standard for BigData and AI workloads.
